A variety of restaurants offer a wide choice of dining options. The Pavilion, which is elevated amongst the rainforest, serves authentic Thai cuisine in an open-air setting. The Dining Room offers Malaysian and Western specialities either served inside or around the main pool. The Dining Room also serves a sumptuous buffet breakfast each morning. The Beach Club offers seaside alfresco dining with poolside lunches and evening specials. The lobby lounge features cocktails and snacks with panoramic views over the Andaman Sea. There is also 24-hour room service.
Other services and facilities include a private beach with water sports facilities including snorkelling, windsurfing and sailing (for no charge), the Mandara Spa with open sided treatment rooms facing the rainforest, 2 tennis courts, the adjacent championship 18 hole Datai Bay Golf Course landscaped into the rainforest, complimentary guided nature walks with Irshad the Datai's naturalist, mountain bikes, fully equipped gym, sauna and massage. Also available is a small boutique library with a wide selection of reading materials and free Internet access. There are two swimming pools, one by the beach and one overlooking the rainforest; the later is restricted to guests over 16 years.
